Nothing will rain on our parade this weekend, not even Mother Nature herself. Female Eye Film Festival

Festival season is about to be in full swing here in Toronto, and not just the live music kind. An international women’s film fest called Female Eye Film Festival (FeFF) has arrived at TIFF Bell Lightbox.

The festival is described as an “eclectic program of features, documentaries, [and] shorts” made by Canadian and foreign women and gender-diverse directors. The features at this year’s festival definitely live up to its tagline — “always honest, not always pretty.”

Nora in Pure at Cabana Pool Bar

It’s going to be a jam-packed summer at Toronto’s Cabana Pool Bar. The waterfront venue is officially into its high season and this weekend, it will host a performance by one of the biggest DJs of the moment. On Sunday, Nora en Pure will hit the stage at Cabana for an outdoor performance overlooking the city skyline, accompanied by poolside drinks and good vibes.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

Attention Potterheads, this is not a drill! The highly-anticipated production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is finally in Toronto. After a long hiatus, Cirque du Soleil has finally brought its iconic Big Top back to Toronto for a breathtaking performance. The performers will take the stage at Ontario Place for a “mind-boggling” limited series of shows that combine acrobatics with art, poetry, and humor.
