Cabot Trail Food Truck Rally setting up shop in Cape Breton Oct. 22-23


BADDECK, NS — Destination Cape Breton and Parks Canada are teaming up to bring food trucks to areas around the Cabot Trail on Oct. 22 and Oct. 23.

The Cabot Trail Food Truck Rally will give people time to try their offerings before stopping at the next food truck location.

Food trucks like Grub Love Co., Da Smoky Fish, Beaton’s Delight Espresso, Bungalow Beans Coffee and Stand & Stuff Your Face will be set up around the trail.

The participating food trucks and their locations are:

  • Grub Love Co. – Skyline Trail Parking Lot, 19685 Cabot Trail Rd., Cape Breton Highlands National Park
  • Da Smoky Fish – Parking lot across from Aucoin’s Bakery in Petite Étang, 16075 Cabot Trail Rd., Petit Etang
  • Beaton’s Delight Espresso – Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site, 559 Chebucto St., Baddeck
  • Bungalow Beans Coffee – Big Intervale Campground, 27117 Cabot Trail, Cape North
  • Stand & Stuff Your Face – Ingonish Beach, 90 Beach Rd., Ingonish Beach
  • East Coast Empanadas – Wreck Cove General Store, 42470 Cabot Trail Rd., Englishtown
  • BeaverTails–Jersey Cove (Englishtown Ferry)
  • The Newland’s Island Cuisine – Quai Mathieu Promenade/Boardwalk, 15273 Cabot Trail Rd., Chéticamp
  • Big Spruce Brewing – 64 Yankee Line Rd., Nyanza
  • Seaside Sugar’s Donuts & Dogs – Middle River Community Hall, 2656 Cabot Trail Rd., Baddeck
  • Amanda’s Island Bistro – Larchwood Enterprise Margaree Harbour, 117 Bridge Rd., Margaree

Destination Cape Breton is advising those interested to bring cash, download the app, keep updated with social channels like Facebook and Twitter and collect digital stamps to make the most out of the food truck rally.

The event will take place from 10 am to 4 pm on both days.
