ARCADY CONCERT: Arcady will present the acclaimed music drama, Ruth, on Saturday, May 28 at 4 pm at Whistling Gardens in Wilsonville. The concert will open with the premiere of “Song of the Sun” written by Emerging Artist Emma Verdonk of Brantford. As a special offer to ticket purchasers, a free pre-concert Zoom chat with Ruth scholar Enid Pottinger will take place on Tuesday, May 24, 7-8 pm. WALK FOR ALZHEIMER’S – TILLSONBURG: This year’s IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in Tillsonburg on May 28 will be an outdoor event, starting and finishing in Memorial Park near the Kinsmen Bandshell. PRIDE DAY: Pride Haldimand Norfolk is back – bigger, bolder, and braver than ever. On Saturday, May 28 at McKinnon Park in Caledonia, from noon until 5 pm, organizers are summarizing their annual Pride in the Park celebration with musicians, artists, vendors, food, and fun suitable for the whole family. This year’s theme is “Dare to Be Yourself” — celebrate and embrace the lives of Two Spirit and LGBTQIA+ people.

EDISON FEST: The public is invited to come out on June 4 for the return of Edison Fest, 10 am to 7 pm in Vienna’s Memorial Park. Return of vendors, music, food and more. New this year is the Canadian Raptor Conservancy show, Bubbleology, and Craig the Science Guy. A fun family day with face painting, balloon twists, bouncy castles, cross-cut saw, sack racing, nail driving, spaghetti eating competitions and more. The Lions Club will be serving food and there will be birthday cake to commemorate Edison’s 175th birthday. Four bicycles, two scooters and helmets will be given away. Email for more information.

OTTERVILLE MILL CLASSIC CAR SHOW: Spectator admission is $4 for this year’s 25th anniversary Otterville Mill Classic Car Show on June 11 in Otterville. MSC TRAIL WALK AND RUN: The 2022 Tillsonburg Multi-Service Center Trail Walk & Run is Sunday, June 12, with a new location this year. Two-km and five-km courses around scenic Lake Lisgar start (10:30 am) and finish at Memorial Park in Tillsonburg near the Kinsmen Bandshell. Swag bags and prizes. We will have gently-used, good quality purses, shoes, belts, jewelry, hats, gloves and other accessories, all priced at $2 each. SENIOR CENTER SUMMER BAZAAR: The Tillsonburg Senior Center Crafters welcome you to a summer craft bazaar on Saturday, June 25, 9 am – 12 noon. Shop beautiful hand-made items such as quilts, household items, baby sweaters and much, much more, along with great Christmas-themed items.
