Tesco unveils its Christmas food range for 2021 including a profiterole gateau

From gingerbread latte cream liqueur to a brie that’s designed to be melted, Tesco’s 2021 Christmas range certainly won’t disappoint. Here’s a sneak peak at what’s in store this year

Tesco is one of the first major retailers to reveal its Christmas range for 2021, including a gingerbread liqueur and a profiterole gateau along with all the classic festive treats we don’t want to go without.

Summer is still underway and a heatwave is expected very soon, but that hasn’t stopped the supermarket chain from getting us in the mood for festive food. It’s never too early, right?

Expect juicy turkey crowns and crackling gammon joints packed with delicious flavour, succulent party food that requires minimal effort and and must-have desserts – including the show-stopping Speculoos Profiterole Gateau. Our mouths are watering just thinking about it.

The supermarket giant has also gone all out on vegan options this year with plenty of new additions to its plant-based ranges, including portobello mushroom wellingtons, beet & horseradish pastry parcels and spiced rum Christmas pudding.

The gingerbread latte cream liqueur is already available to pick up in stores, but you’ll need to be patient and wait for everything else to hit Tesco shelves.

Cheese lovers, get excited. Tesco has created a show-stopping brie that’s made to be melted – and we can’t think of anything more dreamy.

The flavorsome soft-baked treat is drizzled with a brandy glaze bursting with festive flavors including sweet fig and bitter notes from fruit peels.

Specially designed by Tesco chefs, it is also topped with crunchy walnut kernels for a spectacular finish.

Tesco has made our lives a whole lot easier by creating a mouth-watering Christmas meal box for two.

It comes with turkey breast wrapped in bacon, roast potatoes, pigs in blankets and Yorkshire puddings.

Veg is also included, such as roasted carrots and parsnips with thyme, broccoli, cauliflower and sprouts.

The meal is complete with sage and onion stuffing, plus rich turkey gravy and a sweet cranberry sauce.

For dessert, there’s cider and Courvoisier VS Cognac Christmas puddings served with brandy sauce.
